An award-winning, American artisan favorite, Reading is aged approximately three months, and is washed with a brine solution during its aging process. The result is a unique creamy texture balanced by nutty, grassy undertones found closer to the rind (the rind tastes like peanuts!). This versatile semi-firm cheese ideally suited to melting, but it exhibits a subtle yet complex flavor profile that allows it to stand alone on any cheese plate.

My Favorite Part Of Winter!

I look forward to this cheese every year. It is a show-stopper on any cheeseboard and its pairings-- don't even get me started! This cheese is my excuse to keep potato chips in the house. It is so good, I have to ship my parents a wheel as well each season! Cannot wait to dig into a wheel this year.
