Tulip Tree Creamery produced a limited-release of White Oak cheese — exclusively for us!— featuring a Kentucky whiskey, Fortune's Fool, which is one of the only female-owned whiskey brands in the United States. White Oak is a unique, double cream cheese whose curds are washed in whiskey before being aged for at least 30 days as it forms a natural rind. The texture is fudgy and rich, the flavor is infused with bready, smoky notes, and the curd is lactic and bright.
