The black board and knife material is incredibly durable and made from resin-infused paper, is naturally anti-microbial (prevents mold growth), dishwasher safe, and does not break. The black material is handsome, long-lasting, and can be used as a shelf in the Grotto Classico or for serving cheese at dinner. Included with each order is a beautiful piece of soapstone chalk so you can record your cheese selection on both the board and the knife. It's like slate, but stronger.
